Spinny Witter

Spinny has over a decade of experience in the City. She started her career on the Barclays fast track graduate scheme, including a stint with BZW on a trading floor and a year in Hong Kong working in the South-East Asian Chairman’s Office. She then moved to KPMG’s financial sector consulting business, working on the sale and delivery of credit risk management and process redesign projects, and on regulatory reporting. In addition to client work, she developed a communications strategy for the 500+ strong department, set up and ran a mentoring programme for audit staff transferring internally into the consulting business, delivered training to audit staff on credit risk issues and was part of the interview team, making recommendations to the senior partnership team on numerous external candidates.

An opportunity to reset Spinny’s work-life allowed her to consolidate her experience with training in the field of human behaviour and communication. After a foundation course in psychodynamic psychotherapy at the Westminster Pastoral Foundation, she then went on to qualify as an NLP Master Practitioner and Coach, and subsequently as a career coach.

Alongside work, Spinny has worked over the years with various professionals and authors in a creative editorial capacity. She has also co-ordininated the set up of a new CIO to deliver improved maternal and child health services into low income countries through local NGOs.
